PROGRAMS:

Humanitarian Wave’s programs are designed to create a lasting solution and improve the quality of life of individuals and communities in need.  We develop programs that contribute to economic self-reliance, education and health while also integrating and cultivating environmentally sustainable methods.  Humanitarian Wave provides tools, teaches skills, creates and opens opportunities in a way that enables individuals and communities who lack the resources to further their quality of life.  

Economic Self-reliance

This program creates and develops opportunities by providing tools important for economic growth.  It provides basic but essential tools for work that otherwise people cannot afford nor have access to, and that will create life changing opportunities. 

Education

The program goal is to provide educational tools necessary to promote and attain education for children and adults in need through building schools, providing school supplies, sports equipment, music programs, literacy programs and other tools essential for educational advancement.

Health

Humanitarian Wave’s health programs target the diverse areas that affect the health of people in need through prevention and educational programs as well as sports programs, basic medical provisions and other preventive resources that otherwise people in need have no access to.  Programs include:

·         Joining efforts with other nonprofit organizations to fight preventable and other diseases such as Malaria affecting poor communities where the effects of the disease causes disabilities and affect the sustainability of families and entire communities.

·         Bringing joy and laughter to children around the world suffering from life threatening diseases such as cancer.

·         Promoting and educating people on areas such as better sanitation, nutrition, safe handling of food, clean water, hygiene and health care.

·         Creating basic sports programs as well as providing the sports equipment to integrate sports into every day activities for health, enjoyment and the numerous positive benefits and effects sports bring to individuals and communities.

Immediate Humanitarian Aid Relief

These programs provide much needed assistance to people and communities affected by disaster, living in inhumane conditions and such extreme poverty that they lack the basic needs for subsistence.  Humanitarian Wave provides food and help build shelters for the destitute, orphanages and abuse centers.

Environmentally Sustainable Programs

Humanitarian Wave works to create growing awareness and increase understanding as well as encourage the development and improvement of environmentally sustainable methods.  As part of this program Humanitarian Wave will work to develop programs with local nonprofit organizations that promote and educate people on environmentally safe techniques to improve water supply and sanitation, agricultural techniques for sustainable food production, and programs that increase economic productivity and prosperity while protecting natural resources.
